Dear Colleague:

After 52 years of excellence as TAHSA, I invite you to the premier educational and networking event for aging services professionals in Texas, LeadingAge Texas' 1^st  Annual Meeting and Trade Show. This year's conference and its theme, "Inspire. Serve. Advocate," will provide you with informative educational seminars, wonderful recognition programs, and great networking opportunities.

Here are some highlights of the program:

• Visit the 22 nd  Annual "Art Is Ageless"  art exhibit on display May 19-22 and meet the artists at the Awards Ceremony and Reception on Saturday, May 19. Come join us in this meaningful recognition of the artistic abilities of older adults.
• Attend the Pre-conference seminar on Sunday, May 20, 9:00 - 4:00 PM,"Maximizing Your Community's Potential,"featuring an array of great speakers.
• Renew old friendships and make new ones at the casual kick-off reception Sunday night, May 20 with the fun theme of "Super Heroes."
• Attend the opening general session, "The Science of the Aging Mind," featuring  Dr. Denise Park.
• Bid on great items at the silent auction to benefit the Herb Shore Scholarship Fund.
• Attend your choice of 32 educational break-out sessions in eight disciplinary tracks.
• Visit the two-day trade show, featuring more than 110 booths bringing you the latest products and services. The trade show will feature a Monday afternoon Grand Opening complete with refreshments, live music, and prizes. On Tuesday, there will be lunch in the hall along with entertainment and prizes.
• There will be a closing general session that will energize and motivate you - "You Have the Heart to Serve," presented by Rick Hunsicker, founder of Hunsicker Senior  Living Services.
