Educational Institute on Aging The Educational Institute on Aging (EIA) is a subsidiary foundation of the Texas Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (TAHSA). The purpose of EIA, according to its by-laws, "shall be to offer educational and research opportunities for those who serve older people so that older people may benefit from appropriate and quality services." EIA's educational programs reached about 5,000 people last year. We touch a variety of disciplines including: administrators, nurses, social workers, activity directors, dietary staff, and physical therapists.
